My name is Sanja Segvic and I’m the Program Officer with the GNC Technical Alliance’s Technical Support Team (TST). My main responsibility is to support the TST Coordination Unit to manage technical support requests, specifically those that are “in-depth” – or that require several weeks of dedicated support from an Advisor. This includes working on the administration (contracts, sub-agreements, service agreements), budgets and the logistics of the support (flights, accommodation etc.). I also support the TST Coordination Unit in monitoring and reporting responsibilities.

Most recently I have been working to get the CMAM Advisor deployed to Honduras. Thankfully, all is finally in place as she arrived a few days ago, so let the work begin!

For almost 10 years, I have provided finance support to humanitarian programmes with International Medical Corps this included supporting the Tech RRT since its inception (2015). In April 2021, I was happy to make a career shift from finance to programmes, bringing my expertise in financial and project management to the TST Coordination Unit.

I strongly believe that only with teamwork we can grow and make great things. The TST is a great illustration of this. It’s a diverse group of individuals from multiple organizations coming together to support nutrition responses.

I have an MA in Economics from the University in Split, Croatia, where I am based with my husband. In my private time, I enjoy walking in nature and spending time with my family and friends.
